CABE Annual Report

The places where we live have an effect on all five human senses. We aimed to capture this concept in an annual report for the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment that could also be experienced by each of the senses.

Spiral binding the report meant we could use a variety of stocks with different textures and page sizes. The die-cut cover had a metallic finish, for example, while one of the transparent section dividers included a braille introduction to emphasise sense of touch. Another divider depicting a flower was infused with scent.
